~Along Came Sharona~

Sharona is a practial nurse from New Jersey. She has a son named Benjy, and has an ex-husband named Trevor. She moved to San Francisco to be closer to her sister Gail. Captain Stottlemeyer hired Sharona after the death of Adrian Monk's wife Trudy. When Monk became a consultant for the department, Sharona would help out on cases, sometimes doing independent investigations and sometimes using her sex appeal to get information that Adrian couldn't.

 

Sharona left the show midway through the third season to remarry her ex-husband, Trevor.
