***Farewell Stanley Kamel (1943 - 2008)***
*****************************************
Light A Candle For Mr. Kamel
Stanley Kamel, who played Dr. Charles Kroger on Monk has died. He passed away on Tuesday, April 8th of this year. Mr. Kamel died of a heart attack. I, along with the many other Monk fans are deeply sadden to hear this news. I read recently (on the USA Network's Monk Message Forum), that Mr. Kamel just got over the flu and was feeling better. I know all of us would like to send out our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. He will be missed deeply.
A rep for the USA network, which airs the Emmy-winning “Monk,” released the following statement to Access Hollywood:
“USA is deeply saddened by the news of Stanley Kamel's passing. Stanley was an amazingly talented and extremely kind man, and an important member of the USA family. He will be sorely missed.”
