***Interviews With Alex***
****************************************
Alex from the USA Network's Monk Message Forum sent Heather Brooker, who will guest star in Mr. Monk Gets Lotto Fever, some questions not long ago and she answered them for her.
Hi there! I'm happy to be a part of fan page. I'll do my best to answer all your questions without droning on as we actors tend to do
1. How did you get your role in Monk?
I got my part Monk after I was submitted by my manager for a role. I went in and met the casting director, then not 45 minutes after I left my manager called and said they wanted me to meet the producers. Hurray! So I met them the next day and they gave me the part.
2. Did you worked with Tony Shalhoub, Traylor Howard or other main cast?
I worked with Tony, Traylor, Ted and Jason in my scene.
3. (If you did work with Tony Shalhoub, Traylor Howard etc.) How it was to
work with them?
They couldn't have been nicer or more lovely to work with. Tony has the best sense of humor and it's really incredible to watch him work. Traylor was so sweet and really a pro.
4. What can you tell me about this episode?
I can't go into details about the role i played because the episode hasn't aired yet. But I can tell you I'm in "Mr. Monk Gets Lotto Fever" this next season and it's going to be a good one
5. Where was this episode filmed?
My scene filmed near downtown Los Angeles.
6. How long have you been filming?
No answer
7. Before you got this role, have you been watching Monk?
My husband and I are big fans of the show as well. So it was a huge honor for me to be on the show.
8. Do you know if in this episode will be Hector Elizondo?
No answer
9. Your favourite Tv Show, movie, music?
Some of my favorite shows include The Office, Lost and Heroes. I love all kinds of music but currently I'm listening to Mike Doughty's latest album. I love it! His voice is like an instrument itself. My favorite movie's list is an ever evolving list because each year a new movie comes out and I want to alter my favorites a bit. But I have to say Elizabeth starring Cate Blanchett is my absolute favorite. She has such a powerful presence on film and I would watch her in just about any role. And I love to work with her someday!
10. When did you know that you want to be an actress?
I knew when I was about 8 years old that enjoyed making people laugh. I used to entertain my mom's friends with my impressions and silly characters. I did a lot of theatre in high school, won several awards at local competitions, then went to Oklahoma State University on a theatre scholarship. But as sometimes happens in life, we veer away from our dreams a bit and try on new dreams. So I became a news reporter for a while. However, I eventually found my way back and have never been happier. You can read more about me at my website http://www.heatherbrooker.com
11. Your favourite role you played?
My favorite role that I've played so far has to be this role on "Monk". How can you top Tony Shalhoub? I don't think you can
I'm including some photos for you as well.
All the best,
Heather Brooker
***Scott Peters About The 4400 Cancellation***
****************************************
To all the wonderful fans of The 4400
It's with great sadness that I pass along to you the information I've just received -- The 4400 has been cancelled. We've had a great time bringing you this story and submersing you in the lives of all these incredible characters. Thank you especially to the folks on the board here whose tireless devotion to the show is nothing short of remarkable. Shout out to Bubba, by the way! I love your posts, man.
I just spoke to Joel and we had a great talk about what we all accomplished and how much we'll miss our family that is our crew and our cast... and our fans. But at least we got to go out with a bang! I had an awesome time directing the last episode. I think I got to make almost every single cast member cry (on camera). How much fun was that?!
So let me raise my metaphorical glass to you all and thank you for being so loyal and so dedicated. I wish we could go on forever, but the party has come to an end. Be well and on behalf of all of us at The 4400 -- thank you, it's been a pleasure.
Scott Peters
Creator / Executive Producer
The 4400
Here's a production blog that's mentions yours truly ...
First off, I just want to thank everyone for their kind words. I'm really glad you've enjoyed the blogs. Our last day on the show was way back in July and I've since moved on to other projects (until we find out whether we've been picked up), so finding the time to write them has been difficult. But even if only one of you gets a kick out of them, it's worth the effort.
Thanks also for all the support you guys have given our little show. Speaking for the entire cast and crew, we really appreciate it. A special shout-out to Bubba who, based on my limited message board perusing, is clearly one of our biggest fans. Thanks Bubba!

***USA Network's The 4400 Video Chat***
****************************************
On Friday, September 14th, 2007 USA Network had a live video chat with Jenni Biard, Chad Faust, and Megalyn Echikunwoke of the show The 4400. I got to ask Jenni a question ...
Question: Jenni, what has been your favorite episode this season.
***An Older Interview***
****************************************
Below is an old interview with Stanley Kamel aka Dr. Kroger.
***A Moment with Dr. Kroger***
****************************************
Stanley Kamel aka Dr. Charles Kroger
Stanley Kamel (Dr. Charles Kroger) drop by the USA Network Monk Message Board, a while back and answered some of our questions and he answered one I pose...
~Monk Information Page~
"Has Adrian's condition with his OCD improve, decline, or stay the same in your opinion, over the last few years?"
~Stanley Kamel~
"As with any situation with a patient in therapy, the condition fluctuates. There are times, and we've seen them, when Adrian has moved way ahead of where he was -- in other times, when he seems to take a few steps back. Has he improved? Yes. Is he all better? Not yet."
